These enhancements have been carefully designed to provide a more structured, proactive, and comprehensive approach to your long-term health and wellness.
What’s Changing?
We are transitioning from a per-visit fee structure to a simplified annual fee model to ensure a consistent, streamlined, and proactive approach to your care.
Previously, fees were based on individual visits—such as consultations, follow-ups, and lab reviews. The new model:
1. Provides a structured, long-term health plan rather than episodic visits.
2. Recognizes the expertise, time, and in-depth care involved in optimizing your health.
3. Integrates a broader scope of assessment and intervention to better support longevity, energy, and overall well-being.
A More Holistic Approach to Your Health
This updated model allows us to focus even more on preventative strategies, metabolic health, and hormone optimization through the DESSERT Framework—a structured, evidence-based approach to Age Management.
The DESSERT Framework
Your care is designed around seven key pillars that guide our assessment and treatment approach:
D – Diet: Tailored nutrition guidance based on health goals and medical needs
E – Exercise: Customized movement plans to enhance strength, endurance, and overall health
S – Sleep Quality: Assessment, strategies for improvement, and referrals for Sleep Studies as needed
S – Stress Effects: Identifying and managing the impact of stress on health
E – Evaluation of Risk Factors: Early detection and assessment of risks for degenerative diseases
R – Restoring Optimal Hormone Health: Including key hormones like testosterone and estrogen, and innovative gut peptide therapies
T – Treating Risk Factors: Targeted interventions for preventing premature disability and age-related diseases including overweight and obesity
New Age Management Care Levels
Through an initial triage process, we’ll help determine the care level that best suits your individual needs.
Important Details About the New Model
- Each Care Level has an assigned fee, which reflects the time, expertise, and services included.
- The Age Management Care Fee covers services outside of provincial health care plans and is due prior to receiving care.
- Your enrollment is valid for one full year from the date of payment.
- Lab and diagnostic service fees remain separate and are paid directly to the facility at the time of testing. We can provide cost estimates, but fees are subject to change by the lab provider.
- This care model is not a replacement for primary care, but rather a specialized complement to your overall healthcare. We encourage patients to share Age Management details with their primary care provider.
- If a medical concern arises that falls outside of Age Management care, you may eligible to be referred for evaluation through the provincial healthcare system.
